Very bad moon image

Recommended Posts

This time i just wanted to take a picture on maximum magnification :) But next time i will do picture with 20mm for paronamic view. :D

I have a similar scope to you and the max magnification you can use usefully is your 4mm on it's own... and under good conditions.

Get a 6mm and 8mm (or 12mm & 16mm and use barlow) and these will show very close, very detailed views which you will be able to image clearly and still zoom in afterwards.

best is to use 20mm or bigger and then take a nice shot of the whole moon and you will be able to zoom in further than your original shot and still see good detail.

I am hoping this will work for Jupiter too. Jupiter is my next target after enjoying the moon a few more times.
