First view of Jupiter

Just come in from seeing Jupiter or the first time. Only been at this for a few months using binos to learn the sky but already saw Jupiter and its four moons.

Might sound bit pathetic since they were only dots but Im happy and cant wait now to get me a scope.

It doesn't sound pathetic using Binos, I actually prefer my binos sometimes to my scope as I can see a far wider area with a richer view. Don't underestimate them!

Ya know what? That's a great start! Choose your scope very carefully, and enjoy the heck out of it.

Binos are a great tool! Use them in tandem with any future scope to hunt "faint fuzzies" and then point the scope at it. You'll be suprised what you may find.
