Keeping ep's warm or cold??????

I have my scope set up outside cooling down as I type this. Gonna be cold and clear tonight, so some serious viewing anticipated.

However I do have a question regarding eyepieces and if they need to be kept warm or are they ok left on your tripod tray until required.

I have previously read that it is a good idea to keep them in pockets.

I currently leave them on the tripod tray, but I have noticed that they can fog up a little.

Be nice to know what everyone else does.

to stop dewing /fogging just need to be a degree or so above ambient. I keep mine in coat pockets,(no fluff) and never seem to have fogging.

I keep them in the EP case until use, then in my pocket if I'm switching between them.

I find cold EPs dew and fog too easily.
