Finally got hold of a DSLR and attachment for my scope, I now need to find a motor drive and I am away - in the mean time I thought I would try it out on the moon - this was my first attempt, unedited and I am quite happy with it.

Let me know what you think.

It's a great pic, and if you're happy with it, that's all that really counts

Happy for now, will get better with practice, I am no Camera wizz so still trying to learn all the settings on that too! :(

It is so all about that little fine tuning with the focus on afocal I find it to be such a pain and get about 10-15 shots in before I feel it looks good to keep. That is a very crisp image though you'll get the hang of the focus down keep it up :(
