First Lunar Images!

Here are my first Lunar images with my new 6 inch Dob. Taken with a Sony A300 DSLR, just pointed at the eyepiece. I ordered an adapter so I can connect it to my 'scope, but for now I'm just practicing this way. First image is flipped and rotated right side up, second isn't. Processed in GIMP 2.6.

An exellent start - you will find things much easier with the adaptor - but well done. Good focus and the right exposure - especially the first one.
