4mm ortho

hey, just had a quick peek between the clouds with my new ep 1.25 4mm japan ortho. First look towards jupiter...wow sharp at 210x mag but drifting in and out? must of been wind/cloud, second the moon,WHAT detail...i thought 210x would be too much but there's more to come!

They are very sharp eyepieces if you can cope with the tiny eyelens and short eye relief. The objective lens of the Telementor will be of excellent quality and smooth figure I reckon - you can often push the power a bit with really good quality opitics.

i didn't think it would work john, tiny yes , dark a little, but worth getting from Dobbie second-hand...now what? 3mm? or a tal x2 barlow..god this is getting good!
