lukebl
Nice image. Shows how capable the little MX716 is! I think a little tweak of the levels could darken the background a bit.
astro mick
Thanks for the comments guys.really appreciate them.Luke the 716 is a lovely camera. An oldie but goldie.I left the background a bit light,as other people were telling me that i was over darkening it.Maybe somewhere in between should be ok.Mick. ollypenrice
Thats a good one for the limited time and sky issues. Nice colour contrast between core and arms. This one often comes out an all-over queezy green if you're not careful!I don't know where your dark star haloes come from, seen against the galaxy. Maybe from sharpening or High Pass or Deconvolution? If you create a star layer using Martin B's method in his tutorials on here, or by using Noels Actions, you can isolate the stars when processing. I find this essential. For a quick fix the clone stamp set to Lighten will usually do it.Olly
astro mick
Thanks Olly, for your kind comments.I,m thinking that the haloe,s originate from a DDP,in my processing software.I,ll have a look at the Tutorial.Regards.mick.
