viewing jupiter

Hi im looking for some advice viewing jupiter, what's the best size of eyepiece to use? i found using the 6mm one was to hard to focus. When i used one of the larger ones i could'nt really see much (still impressed me though) any advice welcome.

I find about 12mm good on jupiter

hmm just experiment with the ep`s you have the more mag you use the larger jupiter will become , but the trade off is that it becomes dimmer .......
