S@N Mistake???

I was looking at May's S@N mag yesterday in preparation for last nights little show, All the times for the disappearance & reappearance where an hour out but there was know note saying that times where GMT & not BST at first I thought Stellarium was set wrong but when the goto on the scope agreed, It could confuse a stupid person like me!

All astronomical times are expressed at UTC - otherwise it would cause all sorts of confusion!!

They usually have a little footnote or something to say this ......

I thought they would be UT[GMT] but I couldn't see the footnote anywhere.

Nice site here explains the principles of UT http://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/docs/UT.html was one of the reasons I bought myself a watch updated by radio time signals, does not make things any better but it was a good idea to get yet another boys toy off the wife.
