Astronomy Clubs in/around Shropshire?

Hello,

I live in Shropshire and recently took up this great hobby. I am looking for a new scope and I keep being told go to your nearest clubvs open night and look at their kit. I currently do not know of any clubs. Does anybody know of or is involved in an Astronomy club close to Telford/Shropshire?

Any particular part of Shropshire, just wondering if you live close to a county boarder and there is on in the next county that is close enough.

Shropshire Astro.

There is another group who meets up at the Spaceguard Centre at Knighton, Powys - but they don't do much observing...Meetings

Im.also a member of shropshire astro most are nice friendly people but like everywhere you do get the ones

Having looked around at club locations then you may be in Shropshire but not close to Telford or Shrewsbury. You do not supply more the Shropshire as a location.
