Jupiter GRS - 18th Nov

I decided to try and clear some space on my HHD (1TB of avi’s).

While doing this I decided to take a look at some of more recent avi’s. Found one that had 3500 frames taken on the 18th Nov but seeing was hampered by rolling cloud cover which is why I’d not bothered processing this one. This is a stack of the best 900 with some very careful wavelets.

I'm pretty pleased with this as it my first proper picture of the GRS (its usually just disappearing when i start a session or appear when my powertanks gone at the end of a session). And with limitted frames (I usally use 2000/10000) it shows the potential of the C9.25 and DFK.

You really see how the GRS is in turmoil and almost two storms in one.

That's a good image Justin, the GRS is clear and well defined. Nice contrast and detail in the bands also, well done!
