Sun fliter Supplier needed

Hi all!

My son is the gazer. and I'm trying to locate a Sun Filter for his scope, and I'm trying to locate a supplier to get one for a Christmas gift for him.

The label on the scope reads BT-202 Dobsonian Newtonian Reflector telescope, 200mm, FL 1200mm, f 6.0.

We live in Sydney Australia.

Can anyone point me in the right diretion?

The best for a Newtonian reflector would Baader solar film ND5 for visual or ND3.8 for photographic.

Here is an example.

Just make a full aperture filter, there are plenty of DIY methods on the web or go to Baader's site and they show you also.

This is the best for white light viewing other than a Herschel wedge but you cannot use one of these on a reflector.

You can make the filter about 150mm diameter to fit on the sheet of filter you get - you don't need the extra light gathering with the Sun! Also don't forget to REMOVE or COVER any finder scopes you may have attached to the telescope.
