Rotate scope without loosening rings

I'd like the ability to rotate my SW 200P within the rings without loosening them so I can share the experience with my 6 year old.

I've seen pictures of where people have mounted a supporting ring to achieve this but I've got no idea of the physical components used.

Anybody point me in the right direction please?

Unfortunately you will need top loosen the rings to rotate your scope. To overcome the scope slipping down a device such as another scope ring (modified) is needed beneath one of the originals. (see above)

There are several threads here where people have used such things as Jubilee type clips running through tube (hose pipe), tube rings etc.

Or there are some very expensive rotating tube rings from Antares - around £250 I think !.
