After my initial post here: http://stargazerslounge.com/imaging-deep-sky/164321-m33-before-fog-19-nov-2011-a.html Last night I managed a further 4h 15min of 5min subs. This is the result:

So: 6hours 15mins of 5min subs using my ED80PRO at F/6. Canon 1000D at ISO800, SW LP filter. HEQ5 guided with a QHY5 and PHD all on a HEQ5/EQMOD combination. Each set of lights stacked in DSS with 24 flats and 25 Darks, Processed in PS CS5 with Noels actions. I think I will call this one "done" and move on to another target........

All comments and suggestons welcome.

That's a very nice image BB. I had a look at the original two and a half hour image, and you can see very clearly what a difference the extra data makes. I grabbed around 2 hours on M33 myself the other night, which I have yet to process, but after looking at your before and after (as it were), I'm already thinking I'm probably gonna need to do more. A lot more . Lovely image :icon_confused:.

Very nice result there, the extra time really does help smooth everything out and bring the detail into the foreground.

M33 is a tricky target, but I reckon you have done it more than justice :icon_confused:

Cheers

Tim
