Replacement Battery for Canon 550D

Hi Guys

Not wanting to pay the cost for the original Canon battery for my 550D, can anyone suggest good relacement batteries that they have used and are pleased with.

I bought 2 LP-E5 batteries here: eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace They work perfectly well and seem to last quite a long time on a charge. 2 for £8.98 with free postage.

There are loads of cheap "dodgy" batteries on ebay that aren't anywhere near the capacity they say they are - i used to buy the cheaper ones to make battery adaptors to run the cameras of PSU's... they would often have a smaller cell with the space being packed out with the carboard boxes that the cells were supplied in...

I have recently been paying a few quid more and buying from

items in ultimate-batteries store on eBay!

The 7D batteries I have bought from them work a treat , can be registered with the camera and seem to have the stated capacity...

Hannels are good as well...
