I actually had a two page article on adapters published in Astronomy Now!! I have two large shelves stacked with the darn things but they are a necessity aren't they?

Yep, no matter how many I have, I never seem to have the right one. Latest I'm waiting for is a T-mount to C-mount adapter, which seem particularly hard to find!

Me too, I have loads of them and never the right one for the next project. TS in germany must have had over £200 of adpater orders from me in 2 years.

If years ago the worlds scope and accessory manufacturers had got their heads together and standardised on threads and tubes sizes etc, you would not have had the enjoyment of hunting down all those lovely adapters that you have to do to-day
