Condensation/dew problems

Similar to the thread below, had to come in due to ep's and finder dewing up (no pun intended) any advice in this or is it just part of the game. Best night in weeks and only manage an hour outside!

Any comments most welcome

I would keep the finder capped until you need it. A 12V powered hair dryer is handy to clear the dew. You can also use small heater straps for the eyepiece and finder.

Keep your ep's in a case and keep the case closed, I never have a problem with dew on ep's doing this. However the finder is a different matter my Telrad was always the first thing to dew up so I made a cover for it and now it's not too bad.

If you keep in a pocket that also helps.

Sometimes the dew gets so bad that even a full dew control system can't hold it off any longer. By then it's usually too foggy to see anything anyway
