A Great night here in Manchester

Great here in Manchester, some good views of m45, some of the best i have had of Jupiter, 4/5 bands and even a hint of sandy red hue .

M42 plenty of nebulosity @ 60x showing 4/5 central stars too.

Very crisp sharp images on everything i have viewed tonight i also set up my autotrak properly for the 1st time too

very impressed with the accuracy of the mount and with the views provided by an out of the box set up

home made dew shield worked a treat too, only downside is still getting some patchy dew/fogging on primary mirror.

dew band needed me thinks!!!

Know what you mean about the dew, even had the sw 25mm misting up tonight, but i agree, m42 was memorable.

The Orion Nebula is a fantastic,the only thing ive viewed tonight is mist and cloud!

Orion is the only nebula I'm confident I've seen. still getting to grips with knowing what it is i'm viewing through the EP, It's only the obvious stuff at the moment like the Moon & Jupiter that I am 100% sure of

Glad to see someone is getting some observing in, it's been misty here the last three days, and doesn't look like clearing any time soon.
