Since Saturn is about to reappear in the morning skies, I made some templates.

If like me its a pure headache to get the ring plane right, so, I made these in Paintshop.

Feel free to download these for your sketch templates.

Now that's was an excellent idea - very 'community' friendly!

And far better than me deciding at the last minute to sketch and have to use a 2" eyepiece cap!

...let's just hope we get some clear skies to use them!

(and that lovely 4.7mm Ethos they've just announced!!!!)

Not a problem.

I'm pretty much self taught, but since I " discovered" the net I've learnt reams of info from all walks of life.

This is just my " pay back".

You can see a change of direction with the rings. I started colouriung in the different ring structures, then, decided to wait until I can see what my scope affords.

Anyway, hope these are of use. I have 28 of em waiting here.
