Well, there is the CN discussion of the discussion?

Although I had heared of Aspheric lenses, I wasn't really aware of their particular positive properties. Looks like there may be little to dislike, for those of middlin' budget - At least with these Hyperion's (theoretical) parameters. Hopefully, we'll see/hear more!
