Sw panaview 32mm or this?

Hi, its there any difference in the panview 32mm and this eyepiece?

Apart from the price, i cannot tell them apart.

The Panaview is finished to a higher standard than the one you link to on E.Bay and it has a twist up eye cup to help ensure you find the same eye position each time you use it. The E.Bay one has a fixed rubber eye cup. Whether they share the same optical design is tough to tell.

From what i hear, a lot of "clones" out there are fairly respectable. Not quite as good as the originals, but when they're a third of the normal price, they offer good bang for buck. That said, i guess it's a bit of a lottery...

I have a SW 32mm PanaView.

It is a great eyepiece.

For the difference in price

FLO: £79 delivered SkyWatcher 32mm

Astronomica UK: £59.95 + £5.95 p&p ??? 32mm

I would pay a little bit extra and get the Skywatcher.

Better to get a KNOWN make.Rather than save a few pennies getting a cheaper purchase, only to regret it......

Indeed, i didn't realize the panaview was so cheap. For the sake of £15 it's much better to go with the SW.
