If your QHY5 stops working for some reason and won't come back to life, despite new drivers etc. It could be that the EPROM needs re-flashing.....Mine died on me last night, and I have just re-flashed the ROM and all is well again.

If the USB voltage drops below a certain level it forgets its a camera! and needs a reminder.

Instructions and files available from.... qhy5 reports usb device when plugged in.

NOTE: You will need a computer running XP to do this, one of the files is a tempory driver and only runs under XP.

Ive had todo mine on at least 3 occasions, there is a option after you have reburned the eprom to make it permanent but Ive always shied away from doing it:)
