EOS 5D MKII For imaging

Can a full frame camera be used successfully with my Megrez 110 on a 2" focus tube?

I'm about to trade one against my Atik 383 but fear I wont be able to use it for astro photography..

Have you considered the extra noise you will get with the 5DII? Are you planning on long exposures? If so, I found the noise from the DSLR very inhibitive.
