Logitech Fusion

A while ago someone mentioned the Logitech Fusion could be firmware modded to give it a slowest shutter speed of 10secs, so that it could be pressed into service as a very cheap guider. I can't remember who that person was :? And I can't find reference to it on the web. PLEASE HELP!

I should have mentioned that there has been some doubt as to weather the latest models can be modded (and to what extent). The QUIAG Yahoo Group is probably the best place to ask.

oh just 4-5secs would probably do? Could be fleabay then for a secondhand jobby.

I don't know mate. I just use it to image the moon so I don't tend to pay a lot of attention to that side of it but I know theres been concerns on that score on the Yahoo Group. It might be worth a check before you buy?

Gaz, does the Fusion take the standard Toucam 1.25" nosepiece? Or have you had to fudge something?

I've joined QCUIAG but now waiting for approval.

I just to took the front of the camera off, took out the filter and Superglued an old eyepeice barrel. Its a very good fit.
