First M45 image

Hi all thought i'd post my results from lastnight which is my first image of M45 , Conditions were not that great with a light cloud layer and slight gusts of wind it made things quite tricky . Equipment used was a Skywatcher 150pds and a Canon 1000d ( unmodded ) at prime focus mounted on an unguided Cg-4 mount , Final image was a stack of 50 subs each 45 seconds long ( the max i can squeeze out of my mount for some reason :D ) with about the same number of darks and no flats as yet .

Regards Alan

Good collimation, good focus and gradient-free background sky. Nice. I can't help thinking there might be more nebulosity in there. Do you have a programme like Photoshop for stretching the lower end of the histogram to find out?
