Handle for Dob?

Hi all,

I have taped a crude 'handle' onto the underside of my 10" Dob to help nudging. Is is a small 3" piece of 2"x1" with a small drawer handle screwed in. It lies directly under the focusser. I haven't had a chance to test it with the permanent cloud cover at the minute, but can't see how it wouldn't be an improvement. As I said, it's pretty crude, so if anyone has more practical or more asthetically pleasing suggestions, I'd welcome them.

A lot of folks add a small knob to the underside of the top end of their scopes for this purpose. Orion (USA) include one as standard on their dobs:

Attach velcro webbing or bungee cord around the tube at the eyepiece end and hang a carabiner loop to use as the handle. Not the most aesthetically pleasing solution but it should work OK.
