Wow, thanks all for the warm welcome.

I just got my new (£35 second hand) Skywatcher 76mm Heritage scope working this evening - saw four of Jupiter's moons for the first time.

I am gob-smacked. I realise now how primative the kit was that I was using 40 years ago. This new stuff rocks !

I am now suffering from acute upgraditus and an itchy wallet.

Must go to bed now and hope it gets better by the morning.
