White Balance Settings - Post IR Block Removal

Howdy all,

Can anyone suggest which manual white balance values I should enter on the SCB-2000 once the IR filter has been removed?

I currently get a very weird set of colours from the camera now the filter is removed, and I have no idea which settings to choose from the w/b manual settings!

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

- Jason

That sounds reasonable... I guess you will need to use the manual WB settings and adjust to suit...using the grey card method.. i just roughly did mine using the white walls of the obs...

Are you usign any other filters with the 2000 sisnce its been modded?

I will take mine outside with a grey a card and a lens and see what settings are needed...

I found it easier to judge on the white side of my WB target rather than the Grey side.. The camera "handily" puts a white bar "behind" the setting that you are changing.

On Manual WB I ended up with RGAIN set to 428 and BGAIN set to 456....
