Marked up as a Siberia 150, which is the same as the TAL 2.

It is motorised but unsure if it works properly..

Didnt pay a lot for it, but ideal as a stater hopefully.

Hopefully the above can help with the mechanical aspects of the 2M.

The interior of the early Tal tubes, in my experience, can have a rather shiny finish. I had thought about fitting some flocking to the tube, but was put off by the cost, so I plumped for painting it matt black. I used a couple of coats of International matt black paint withj a small smooth sponge roller brush(the type that can be used for radiators??). Bend the handle straight and it makes it super easy to reach into the tube. In my opinion it gives a great finish.

Here's a link to a pdf of how to clean/tune up the Tal focusers.....

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Andy.
