Really this is still very much a work in progress image. The sky was clear but a little misty last night, still I managed to get 3 hours of H Alpha on this target before having to pack in for the night.

I hope you like it so far, personally I'm starting the like these H Alpha only images more and more, colour can sometimes be a distraction.

There is a lot of background H Alpha around this target as you can see from my image below... I can probably tighten up the structure detail more tonight when its expected to be clearer???

Thats a ton of Ha data there, very nice! Any plans to add OIII? The crescent responds quite well to that, and if you get enough you will start to develop the outer blue halo

I'm running RGB now since I'm still waiting for my OIII filter to arrive from Baader... I have another 1-1/2 hours of H Alpha and will post the results tomorrow.

I have seen the blue halo and might try it within this month hopefully!!!
