Where am I going wrong with M31?

There are some very good M31's on the board at the moment with significantly lower sub times than I have managed to collect and they all look a lot better than mine

I've collected about 4hrs and 20 mins of data on M31 over the past couple of nights. Consisting of about 30 lights 18 darks and 28 flats.

I've probably mucked the flats up so I know I could improve those. But is there anything else I could try ? I can't help but think for the amount of data I have collected that the image could look a lot better. Maybe it's just my weak processing skills ? I could do with a few more pointers, opinions and a nudge in the right direction if anyone has any please.

I've just been told how to get some colour in the pic from my RAWs so I'll have a go at that again when back to my main computer.

I honestly think it looks pretty good. M31 is tricky, people tend to blow out the core and lose the detail in the spirals, but your image is not overexposed. Add the color as you mentioned and lets see how it looks.

That's very good. I have a similar image with about the same kit and exposure time which looks pretty much the same. On my monitor yours looks a bit green - maybe a tweak down would even out the background too.
