Well it wasn't a perfect evening. My non polar aligned set up refused to guide properly so after abandoning the first two hours worth of subs, I dropped down to 30 seconds and managed to get "some" that were usable.

200P + 314L (guided ST80 + DSIc)

20 x 30s (Baader L) (+MPCC)

I do have some RGB data to play with later (don't know if it will add anything to this?) but I quite like the stack so far :p

My daughter went ooh and that's all that really matters :)

Feel free to pass comment :)

Oooooh - from me as well.

Haha cheers :)

I added the RGB in, I think I did something wrong ... it's bloated out?

4 layers in PS, hue adjustment to each of the RGB layers, Screen blend RGB and Luminosity blend L.

Align, flatten, slight level adjustment to fix background.

20x30s L (1x1)

20x15s R (2x2)

20x15s G (2x2)

20x15s B (2x2)

Ah poo worked it out. Only refocused the B, thought the R+G looked OK.

How wrong I was ..... B is the only perfectly matching layer. R+G are out (introduce the bloat due to off focus.)

Thanks NickH for the twitter pointers (he's either going to start charging me or get a restraining order lol) :)

Lesson learnt!

You get an Aaaaaahhhhh from me! Almost bonfire night ;-)

I have had whole R or B subs whiped out due to naff focus or guiding...it is depressing. I like your comment about your Daughter! I hope i get an Ooooohhhhh from my son one day.
