barkis
If you mean piggy back the flourite onto the LX90, then would have to tell you that I asked similar advice from a telescope and accessories supplier in Germany. I wanted to piggy back my ED80 on to my LX90 12" scope, and I was advised not to do so, as the LX90 was not as robust in certain areas, and it could affect the motors in time. I wrote about this on the forum here, and a few guys concurred with the advice given, others said, they had done it, but you must pay particular attention to the linear and radial balance of the telescope. Makes sense really.I suppose it is down to the guy doing the job. His scope, his risk. You will probably get more from others in due course. Ron. I did not do it by the way Rob. GazOC
Those new 66mm EDs would be a good option for a LX90.
