Nice shot Steve! Maybe don't quite bring the black levels in as much is my advice, also I think you would get much more even field illumination by using a flat frame...

A really fantastic picture, I don't think you need much help! perhaps a nice black and white version to present as well as the coloured version.

I tried a flat today(yes I remembered)and it did not quite do its job as you might see in my 1st mosaic post

I think I did it right I defocused without changing anything else and applied it in registax 5 with no alignment

I could have picked up the only cloud of the afternoon,will give it a go next time out

as regards the black point its something that haunts me (and others) that when the image is posted it drops one or two stops in brightness even though this is a huey calibrated monitor

b/w version no problem
