NGC 2903

Sorry if I already posted this one but I did something wrong and I cannot see this posting.

Great night last night with a clear and very transparent sky. The forcast is more of the same so tonight I will get the colour.

100mm apo with ART 285 camera.

Wow!, that's an ace galaxy shot froggy, nice round stars too. Plenty of detail in the spirals.

Well done my friend, you appear to have a good camera there. Look forward to more good uns. That looks like a faint globular above your NGC.

or do you know what it is.

Nice image. I observed NGC2903 a few weeks back and was surprised that it looked marked elongated given that the listed dimensions suggest it is about 13' by 7' (i.e. more oval). Your photo accounts for what I saw nicely.
