off axis guideing

Recommended Posts

Hello,im looking at getting a guide camera for my celestron cpc800,am i right in thinking that it best to use a off axis guider from back of scope as this reduces flexeture of mirror,i use a f/6.3 focal reducer already with my canon 1000d attached, will there be room for scope to rotate without hitting base of scope with guider in line, anyone with the cpc got any photos of their setup they can show me thanks.
