Cant see Jupiters moons?

A steady mount is the key, but you might be expecting a LOT from those 8X42s ! You don't have to answer this in the forum, but your age, experience and other conditions also play a part.

25X starts to show you the moons with some clarity, but even then, the planet is likely to be a small dot, smaller than a pencil eraser held at arms length !
