My Starter Kit

Thought I would throw up a picture of my starter gear. It is a Celestron 127eq with a national geographic 70mm mounted on the top. I have added a red dot finder and the RA motor kit along with Plossl eye pieces in 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm and the standard 20mm that came with the celestron. I also have a 1.25 to 0.965 adapter to allow the better lenses to be used in the Nat Geo scope.

I intend to add a Skywatcher 250px to my collection and will ultimately be selling what you see here to get a better scope for moving around but that is a long way off yet but the Dobsonian will be just for home.

Aren't you experiencing a bit of "floppiness" to the EQ1 mount with that sort of payload? I am just curious because I have a long-tube 114/900 (4,5") on an EQ2 and just adding a 8x50 RA finder deteriorated the rigidity of the mount significantly.
