Rolled out my 16" on Tuesday night to spend some time on Jupiter. Seeing was a bit iffy .. A IV most of the time :( That said, there were a few good moments that allowed me to capture this:

16" x228 magnification

22.40 to 23.25UT

CM1: 281 degrees approx

CM2: 51 degrees approx

The main dark feature centred over the SEB is the shadow of Io, which was in transit across the disc. Couldn't make out Io itself, which I put down to the poor seeing.

The other feature that really intrigued me was the brighter spot in the EZ, right on the northern edge of the SEB near centre.
