Who's Watching the Supernova in M101?

first clearish night for me in a week, I don't think I will find it though, as the moon is out, and i have never been able to see m101 or the whirpool galaxy on darker nights, which also lies near ursor major

The Moon is waning, so I'm hoping for a darker sky. The only problem is that nothing, except a blackout, can remove

the light pollution also in the sky to the NW. If it stays clear, which it is supposed to (and very cool) I'll also pay a visit

to Comet Garradd.

With all the promises of clear sky last night, all we got was high thick, teasing clouds,

riding on the jet stream, and showing nothing more than the brighter Summer Triangle stars!

Tonight is another night!!
