USB or Serial to ST4 autoguide port?

Hi all, I use a webcam attached to a finderscope and PHD for my autoguiding needs (via EQMod), does anyone if it is possible to bypass EQMod and send PHD guiding commands directly to the ST4 port on my HEQ5 with the correct cable/connector combo? Any suggestions will be more than welcome!

Yes,

You need something like the ShoeString GPUSB adaptor which goes between the USB port on the PC and the ST-4 guide port on the mount.

The alternative of course would be to look for a guide camera with an ST4 port on board

you can find USB to ST4 adapter

and ioptron ever have HBX to st4 ..look like use rs232 to ST4 port , ioptron gotonova/gotostar use HBX port

 and it is RS232 command
