PC to control a mains switch

I would like my PC to be able to control the on and off of a Single Mains socket, is there an easy and cheap way of doing it?

That's better - looks pretty good value for money. I think it'd cost more than that to make it from scratch.

I have ordered one.

I can access my PC in the obsy via a Wake on Lan and then link to it via Tight VNC, this will now also allow me to power up the Scope and Cameras from the PC.

2 things left... automated Cap removal.... and then make the roof automated....

Wont even need to leave the office, and I have also successfully operated the PC and scope from here at work .....
