The new Wixey model is availabe in the UK

A heads up for those who don't know...

I've just ordered the new wixey model, its main advantage is that it is calibrated out of the box, so no need to set it each time you use it, just turn it on.

It cost me £10 more than the usual, will tell you all how it goes

You can always use a standard bubble level if your unsure about its calibrations just look at the bubble then turn the level through 180º if the bubble sits in the same position the level reads true...

And you've probably all got a bubble level somewhere in the tool kit already!

That new Wixey looks a great bit of kit - thanks for the heads up. Much better than the Gemred's with the spirit level on the top.
