2nd Lunar shot with DSLR

My second attempt with my Nikon D90 and 300mm lens handheld.

I think its ok, but would love to see this with a telescope!

Thanks Rustysplit and welshdai, yes it was all handheld but my lens does have Image Stabilising that helped a bit. This was the best shot from a hell of a lot of pics taken!

Would love to see what u actually see through a Telescope!

just started using a webcam to try and get some good shots of the moon. is good fun!

Have some school money to spend on a new camera, not sure what to buy just yet!

Really nice image Goju - especially for a handheld image.

I think you could get more out of it with processing - have you Photoshop or similar??

If so - try backing off the contrast a little and apply a gentle high pass filter - I find that can work well.
