Are you looking to buy...Go-To mount + 'scope + guiding 'scope + webcam + power-source + filters + all other extras...& there are a load you'll want ?? so your wife can get a better view of the sky ??

IF... it's for her.. why not a 150 SW newt or 200 newt on an HEQ5 Pro mount...you can then add your A/P stuff to it at a later date

Not sure about buying a web cam and I have added a few hundred to the budget but for my wife I would like to get scope + cpl of eye pieces + cpl of filters + goto mount. I will look to do A/P initially just using the mount and camera lenses.

The first newts I have considered are the Orion ones mentioned earlier. Others I am looking at are also listed there.
