petek314
Just thought I would share a picture I took of sunspots today. There had been reports that the sun was quite active with sunspots so I was keen to get some sort of image. As soon as I set up the scope the clouds obscured the sun. After a time my patience was rewarded and i managed to get some images. I used a meade LPI and Baader film mounted off axis on my 10" Meade SN. petek314
Thanks for the comments. If i had time perhaps I should have taken darks which may have removed the odd blemish on the image. When you see clouds approaching the sun then you grab the opportunity and take what you can. I am a new user of stargazers lounge and perhaps should have posted this to the solar imaging section.
