KUDOS to Steve at FLO

Hi all....

Just posting to say many thanks to Steve at First Light Optics for my New Explorer 200 and HEQ5 mount.

The scope is all set up except for the polar scope, which is slightly confusing but I'll get there. I have collimated it with a drilled lens cap, but need to buy a proper collimator, and have fitted my telrad. Compared to my ETX 90 it is a monster and when Mrs Jonifive gets home I am in for it!!!

Of course the day of delivery brought stormy weather, cloudy skies and a bout of flu......so no cold nights for me for a while!

I can't wait to get outside. Looking forward to seeing some DSO's, it was always a struggle with the etx 90. I was always disappointed although the optics are good, the view is much too small. Now I feel like a proper stargazer.
