ED120 GPDX and Berlebach

My latest goodies. The ED120 is mounted alongside a ZS66 and gives some idea of relative sizes. I got the Berlebach tripod for £129 from Telescope House and added the accessory try direct from Berlebach - I think it would abosorb an earthquake :)

Looks a sweet set up Martin - very solid tripod.

I've been wanting to set up the TAL & the Rev80ED like that. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the dual mounting bar ? Presumably you balance it up by moving the smaller scope further out than the larger !

Just wondering how you locate a guide star with it. Is the guide head so sensitive that it's not an issue?

Ah sorry CC, see what you mean. There is a bit of adjustment possible side to side however that's the big advantage of using a wide field scope for guiding, there's generally a reasonable guide star within the FOV.
