todd8137
thank you all for the welcome. The calibration problem i have is that i calibrate it and mark it with two stars and then choose something to look at and is normally about 5 degrees out.hi have you done any of these might be worth a try 1, train the drives (az/alt) on a distant telegrapgh pole or some other land objest not a sky one2 on setup settings on the handset select telscope and make sure you scope details are all correct focal lenght ect and the correct model is selectedhave you checked you are on the corect time zone ?3 what i find is once you have aligned the scope after check in all the telescope details are correct try the high preccision mode it slew to a close star first ,get that in the ep and then it will track to your target star it should be fine also tracking is 50% better4 when you first ever plugged the handset in did you calibrate the motors to the hand set give that a try if all else fails reset the hand set and start from scratch i moved a hand set to a freinds goto mount, and had to calibrate the motors and it worked a treat. when a got home i had to redo that again on my goto happy days hope this helped in any way pat
