Solarmax II series 60 compression screw question

Hello,

I have just taken delivery of the above solar scope BF15. I have noticed that the compression screw was left in the box and is not on the scope. It says in the manual not to touch it, so am assuming that this screw should be tightened already. Am I right in thinking this? Do I have to put the screw in and tighten it? Or shall I leave it without the screw? I want to make sure am doing the right thing as the consequences could be dangerous for our eyes!I don't want to take any chances!

Any chance of a photo of the screw in question.....I don't understand at this stage....

It looks like the same screw as the one for the etalon but it screws just before the diagonal. It says something about keep the blocking filter in place. I'll sort out a picture, will make more sense when seeing it!

If you look at the link below, on the very first picture you see a screw just before the diagonal. That's the screw am talking about. Hope this makes sense lol.

Yea, Just push the diagonal into the focuser tube and re-insert and tighten the screw...it's just the locking screw to hold the diagonal in place...nothing serious...
